Uncork’d Entertainment Presents Scarecrows

Scarecrows movie poster

Once you go up, you never come down.

Scarecrows was written by Adam Rodness & Stuart (Stu) Stone, and directed by Stone. You may remember Stu as the actor who played Ronald Fisher in Donny Darko. The film is being called a “stoner horror throwback” and a cross between Jeepers Creepers and Scream. hmmm?

Hannah Gordon (Hurt), Mike Taylor (TV “Pure”), and Umed Amin (A Simple Favor) head up the cast. Check out the trailer below:

While on a hike to find a secret lagoon, a group of friends have no choice but to pass through an ominous cornfield. Unbeknownst to them, the farm owner despises trespassers and has vowed to kill anyone who crosses his land by turning them into living scarecrows, leaving them to rot in his fields. Once one goes up… it never comes down.

So as you can see the scarecrows aren’t the evil ones. I guess it’s still pretty cool that a psycho slasher farmer guy goes out and makes human scarecrows lol
